Episode 14 – Steve Sanders

This conversation was inspiring! I recently sat down with former Cleveland Brown & NFL wide-out Steve Sanders for Authentic Audio. As a huge Cleveland sports fan I tried not to geek out too much. Steve is currently a motivational speaker, author & the Metro Director of the Cleveland FCA. We only spoke a few times before I recorded our conversation and I didn’t know what to expect. Needless to say, the conversation was dynamic & Steve was incredibly humble and vulnerable about his experiences. He provided some inspirational insights to his personal journey that you don’t want to miss. And… yeah.. He gave me an autographed copy of his book “Training Camp for Life”.

Episode 13 – Dana Norris

I sat down with Dana Norris for one of this coolest, funniest and wittiest conversations I’ve had thus far. Dana Norris is a writer and the editor-in-chief of Story Club Magazine. She is founder of Story Club, a monthly live lit show held in Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, Boston, and Belgrade. We talked about how where we live and work impacts our self -image, the difference between storytelling and traditional performance, balancing family with a creative career in the Rustbelt, and redefining what “making it” actually means.

Dana currently resides in the Cleveland area, where she writes for Role/Reboot and Cleveland Scene. She teaches online at StoryStudio Chicago and has been featured in the Chicago Reader, the Chicago Tribune, as well as on WBEZ and WCPN. In 2015, Dana was named one of Chicago’s top 50 literary influencers by New City Chicago.
